Inspiration behind the Design:
Alright. This is a FIVE. STAR. DESIGN. I wanted to get that off my chest as the first thing you see when you see this design because this isn’t some fluffy piece of song lyrics that I just cheesed off the internet fam. THIS IS PERSONAL REVELATION… and I’m really excited to have some designs that express that revelation that I have.
So it started out a few weeks back. It was like the weekend before Mother’s day and just like a trickling stream; there was just the faintest suggestion of this idea of ‘Forever’ trickling out of my spirit. And yes, this is something that I had reflected on a long time ago, like late 2020 but I hadn’t even been thoughtful towards that concept in so long. So in the context of how I’d past thought about it was the song ‘Forever’ by Kari Jobe, and in that song, you have to get this!!! It’s a strong bold, insulting, yet reverent (BUT DON’T MISS THE INSULTING!!!) song about how Jesus is victorious FOREVER!!! And back in late 2020 that hit me so hard. It’s like a huge, ugly, insult to Satan that, Jesus took that seat with the Father FOREVER! And he’s going to be MOST HIGH KING forever! This was all quite in my face at the time because it was just after God showed me himself as King and showed me what Christianity is missing and that’s when he told me to start this label to reintroduce the idea of Jesus and God as KING!
Well, this weekend on Mother’s day, that trickle from the rock just starts from inside of me and I’m thinking about ‘forever’ out of nowhere, and from this faint trickle I hear the lyrics “the lost are found, the blind will see, the lame will walk, the dead will live, and you are God, forever you will reignnnnnn….” And from this faint stirring, I just wanted to hear that song in full. Mind you I don’t go looking for Christian music. I just don’t really listen to music in general so I hadn’t heard this song in years! On my life! So I turn it on, and again I’m just pumped! I’m like this is amazing!!!!!! Dang! And again I was captured by that line, “FOREVER you will REIGN.” And what’s so crazy is that the more I learn, it’s like, in every church song set, you find these little gems and its like, “THAT PERSON KNEW!!! THEY KNEW IT!!!” I think that to myself every time I see a bit of song lyric where I previously missed it for decades.
Anyway that was the weekend before mother’s day and it was just very present on me since then. This idea of God being Forever, and KING over forever, REIGNING over forever. It’s enough to blow your mind. And so the weekend after Mother’s day weekend, I was in a Baptist church that I was attending for the second time, and this song came on, and when I heard the lyrics, “Dancing in the arms of forever” I was just overjoyed again! I was like, “THAT IS THE SWEETEST THING I’VE EVER PICTURED!! THAT’S IT!!! THEY GET IT!!!!!” And that’s the revelation I want to share with you. See I’m not pulling empty song lyrics that sound good out of songs, I have deep, revelatory experience of what this means and it resounds with me so personally and I think it’s such a beautiful little image that that line elicits that I wanted to draw that out for everyone else that’s ever heard that song or ever will hear that song. I don’t want you to miss the sweetness of that beautiful dance, that you can be apart of. 🥰
