Inspiration behind the Design:
Hehe this ones got a funny back story. Alright so, you have to go to my ‘he makes his messengers flames of fire’ design to get that back story but basically I had this word from God that he was setting me on fire spiritually – which I’ll fill you in on this little detail; Was on the exact day that my first EGK sample t-shirt arrived. Literally that day. - So you can go to Charlie Shamp’s Facebook page, he said the same thing I did about 3 months after me. So this was a word from God that there was a generation coming that were going to be human torches for the gospel and everywhere that we went everything around us would catch fire.
So I made that design about 4 months ago now and then it was only like a few night ago I was watching an UPPERROOM spontaneous worship sesh in Dallas – Link: https://youtu.be/Hcp3HTIcdfI and when I was watching it, MAN! IT’S MAY RIGHT NOW!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Guys, I saw this packed out tiny room and they’re all swinging hands and moshpitting, and from where I am in Australia... In America I thought it was all code red in America and I just thought it was hilarious that they had this massive wild out of control party going on in this church and at that moment in my head I heard the word Superspreader. And I was totally associating it with actual COVID right? But then, it clicked in my head; here was this on fire group of young adults and kids that were just like going wild for Jesus and it was like, better than any nightclub and no one was drunk, and no one was getting king hit, and no one was fighting anyone else, and I was like, DANG! This is actually gonna get people jealous and this gonna be a huge turn on for a lot of non-christians to see when everyone else is not having fun in this pandemic, We are still raging on a clean high. And so that’s when it clicked for me the connection between the term super spreader and the jesus fire carriers (Fire starters). And I just thought it was the perfect controversial word for this time that we’re in and that it’s gonna be such an AMAZING conversation starter. The term ‘fire starter’ is for one, has really bad connotations. And two: there’s nothing worse than calling yourself a super spreader in this era. But for me and you, it has an entirely different meaning and it’s so controversial and so scandalous it’s just the perfect storm waiting to happen and when it blows up, Jesus is gonna get the glory. I can’t wait to see someone on the news wearing this shirt. AMEN! 🤣🤣🤣
