Inspiration behind the Design:
Lol. I actually didn’t have a scripture to go with this design until the very last minute I came to write this. I did the design more on a fundamental knowledge basis rather than a particular scripture basis but as you’d have it, Justin Paul Abraham just uploaded this scripture on his Facebook page this morning which I saw all of 30 minutes ago. Eph 4:22,24 – “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
A new self, created to be Righteous and Holy. And 2 Corinthians 5:21 – “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
This is actually super duper undervalued and misunderstood by the Christian community, I was driving from Brisbane to Toowoomba the other day and God gave me this new perspective on this. He showed me that, righteousness cannot be neglected or be devalued by us. The whole of history is based on sin and righteousness. Sin and Righteousness is what either unites us to God or separates us from God forever. Righteousness and Sin is ultra-important to God. Jesus died for the very purpose that we could be divorced from our sin and made righteous once again. So sin and righteousness is very very important. And we didn’t get OUR righteousness back, we got God’s righteousness. And here is why it matters abundantly!!!! Because of Deuteronomy 28!! Because God doesn’t just judge at the end of the age, he judges NOW! He judges every day!!! You get what you deserve every day!! So being righteous matters very very much! It’s the difference between God making your land desolate and making you eat your own children and having every curse upon you, and being blessed and highly favoured, successful in everything that you do and being victorious over death – immortal.
And since we are judged, not on our sin, not on OUR righteousness, but on God’s righteousness, we see that we qualify for every spiritual and physical and emotional and financial blessing in Christ. AMNEEEEENNNNNNN!!!
