Inspiration behind the Design:
I am by no means an expert on Melchizedek but from what I think I do understand, as Jesus was made the High priest in the order of Melchizedek (See Hebrew 5 and 7) we too are King Priests in the order of Melchizedek. I happen to like Hebrews 7:16 which again talks about immortality “one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.” I believe Hebrews 7:16 is a really good definition of who we now are. Melchizedek is a mystery. He appeared in Genesis as a king priest, and then is never mentioned ever again. Who was he I don’t know, but Jesus became the High King Priest in the order of Melchizedek. I only made this hoodie as yet another way of signifying to all that as Christians, we too are King Priests forever and ever, not under the old covenant system but the new covenant forever and ever. This means that unlike other Kings and Priests of this world, we are even greater than all of them. We are King Priests forever.
