Inspiration behind the Design:
This is a pretty important message for me. It is definitely linked to my brand as one of the underlying messages of why I started this clothing brand. I’m publishing a book that was commissioned to me by God on this very topic. Cities belong to somebody. As Ephesians 6:12 says "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ruler’s and Authorities and principalities are bound to regions, and they absolutely exist, and they do have rulership over some cities. Maybe yours. But they don’t have to. Without unpacking all of this revelation cities belong to some spiritual power, either that is Yahweh or that is some demonic entity. What this clothing brand is set out to do, is to change the collective consciousness of the community to be proud of and to openly know and understand that Christians hold the majority in power in our communities. We aren’t the minority, we aren’t on the sidelines, we don’t take what’s given to us, no we are the salt of the earth, the light of the world in a hill, and this t-shirt brand is just one way God wants us to be a literal physical presence in our communities. By being the light, and showing openly that Christians are here, and proud to be here, and that we hold the collective power, inherently, the powers that try to falsely appear to be in charge, get exposed for the false lie they are pushing. The evil in the city will get exposed for what it is, unwanted by the majority, the light will push out the dark. This is fundamentally the very reason that EGK was born. EGK is a movement to win back cities for Jesus. And so I am very proud to wear this design, and I would be very proud to see you wearing it too.
