Inspiration behind the Design:
Toowoomba isn’t special. Toowoomba is just another city. But it’s the place where I reside. When I started EGK, God gave me the mandate. He told me, it was our responsibility to colonialise and govern the cities that we live in ensuring that our cities were boldly proclaimed as belonging to Yahweh. And I don’t mean just in Christian circles. I mean, God told me he wants cities around the world to be globally known as Christian cities with the same level of status as Israel. I received that mandate from God and I took ownership of ensuring that Toowoomba knew that Jesus is our King. The reason I started EGK was because God asked me to start a clothing brand to spread this message in the public arena to change the public persona of Christianity and to change the consciousness of the public. The vision I had is that if every second person on the street had on hoodie that said Jesus on it, you would know that the wider community around you was in support of Jesus right? You would feel a bit freer to express your love for Jesus no? You would feel a bit freer to pray for someone on the street right? That is the reality I want to live in and God called for me to start it. Now I only put Toowoomba on a hoodie because that’s where I live, and I haven’t done it for any other cities because I’ve had my work cut out for me making sure I put out enough designs to convey all of the core values and strong convictions that I want EGK to stand for. But, if you live in another city and you would like the name of your city to be on a hoodie. Hoodie Specs:
This unisex heavy blend hoodie is relaxation itself. The material is a thick blend of cotton and polyester. This makes for a plush, soft feel alongside warmth. There are no side seams. A spacious kangaroo pocket hangs in front. The hood's drawstring is the same color as the base sweater.
