Inspiration behind the Design:
Ephesians 2:6 says – “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” This idea though not a major core value of EGK, it is a precept that cannot be removed from the underlying philosophy of EGK. For if we are Everlasting God Kings, you must rule from a throne. Therefore you must be seated on your throne. Ephesians 2:6 clarifies that that is in fact the case. And I love the graphic of the throne with eyes from the book of Ezekiel. We know from the book of Ezekiel that the wheels were the thrones of the heavenly creatures. And although the heavenly creatures moved about, they never left their throne because their thrones followed them everywhere that they went. Their rulership and authority which was signified by their thrones was never separated from them. So to, it is with us, as we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus on our thrones, as we go about our daily lives, we can stay conscious that we are always in a place of kingly authority.
