Inspiration behind the Design:
“Behold, you are fair, my love! Behold, you are fair! You have dove’s eyes.” – Song of Solomon 1:15. This verse is the inspiration for me. As may of us don’t feel like we are something to be beheld by most anyone but let alone God for him to say that we are beautiful, I think that’s really cool. So this isn’t really a proud shirt that promotes vanity and promotes that idea that I’m better than anyone else, but it’s actually a humble pill. It’s an opportunity for you to shut up and remember how beloved by our Father you are. The thought really humbles me personally. I think it’s such a cool idea to put on a shirt because it flips today’s culture on its head, where we get told that in order to be beheld in other people’s eyes you must be beautiful, when it’s really not up to us in God’s eyes. He finds us beautiful. That’s dope.
