Inspiration behind the Design:
OK so I have another design called ‘Ask Papa’ that goes into detail about how I got this revelation, but I’ve gonna give you the cold pressed, concentrated version here about simply what this means.
I am so passionate about what this stands for, I’m planning on starting an ekklesia council in my city and I’m planning on calling it ‘The Toowoomba Finished Work Ekklesia’. But this is what it means…. The finished work is the number one principle that drives our salvation. It’s what Jesus did to secure our salvation, and we can’t add or take away from that. So everyone knows that. But then we don’t pattern that in everything else in our walk with God.
By this I mean we haven’t chosen to take hold of the fullness of the finished work. For instance; the church has not chosen to believe in immortality. That’s the finished work. Divine health; that the finished work. Divine prosperity and abundance; that the finished work. So on the front of the shirt you have Luke 9:62 that says if you look back you’re not fit to be a disciple of Jesus, and on the back you have John 19:30 where Jesus gives up his spirit and say’s ‘it is finished’. And I find that the church is somewhere in the middle. We wish to believe in the finished work, but our first means of healing is medication not belief in divine health or prayer at the very least. We wish to believe in ‘He will supply our every need, those who seek the lord will lack no good thing, He will clothe us better than Solomon, seek first the kingdom and everything else will be added to you.’ That’s finished work. But we’re looking back at what we can see. Looking at our means of resources, our means of effort. The ploughshare was the Farmer’s own resources and ability to look after himself. I feel like this week when God spoke to me about living in the finished work as my principle plum line, he’s inviting me and others around the world that are getting this revelation, to stop looking back. And believe him at his word. That is it the FINISHED work in EVERYTHING in our lives if we will rely on him.
